Contractor's Guide

 

The staff at Forever Tan has helped countless numbers of customers design, equip, and open successful salons. We have many "tools" available to assist you in your planning. Forever Tan can help you with break-even analysis, demographics, (which can be found at www.census.gov), design, salon layout, electrical specifications and air-conditioning requirements, along with suggestions on framing, plumbing, flooring and paint.


Forever Tan has broken this guide down into several sections. The information contained should help you, your architect and your contractors in bringing your salon together quickly and efficiently with few, if any, problems or "surprises".


It is very important that all parties involved in your new salon see all the information contained in this guide.

All information contained in this guide was carefully prepared and checked by many sources. We believe all the information to be accurate and complete however Forever Tan, or the author, will not be responsible for any mistakes or misprints.

CONTRACTORS REFERENCE GUIDE


IMPORTANT

 

It is your responsibility to complete, sign and fax pages 4,5 &6 back to Forever Tan, Inc. at least two weeks prior to the delivery of your equipment. Please contact your sale representative to confirm they have received the fax.

 

 

The purpose of this form is to insure a smooth and mistake free delivery for our clients.  Please read carefully and sign/initial where indicated.  Failure to complete these forms can result in a delay in your delivery and additional charges.  If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to call.

Delivery Procedure:

 

1.             Once your deposit is received your order will be submitted to the delivery and set up department. 

 

2.             The delivery coordinator will make an introductory call within 72 hours.

 

3.             The introductory call will consist of a brief review of the order.

 

4.             At that time you may schedule a delivery date. If not, your order will be given "hold status".  If you have hold status you must contact us when you are ready to schedule a delivery date.

 

5.             Once you have a firm delivery date you must fax in your delivery confirmation forms. (pages 4,5 &6)

 

6.             The delivery coordinator will then assign a 6-hour delivery window.

 

7.             Electricians must be on call for that window.  Forever Tan will not be responsible for any charges incurred from electricians who arrive on site before the delivery.

 

8.             On the day of your delivery you will be contacted for a final review of your order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9.             Once we arrive on site we will collect any monies due before we begin offloading the equipment.  Failure to provide all monies at the time of arrival will result in a rescheduling and additional billing.

 

10.         The beds will then be assembled.  Forever Tan does not do any electrical connections, running of timer wire or mounting of timers or fans.

 

11.         Once the beds are installed, you will be asked to physically inspect each bed for scratches, cracks, missing parts etc.

 

12.         Any of the above problems should be indicated on the delivery satisfaction sheet.

 

13.         If you have missing items or a need for a service call you will be issued a "WE OWE" form.

 

14.         A representative will call you and arrange for the items/service to be scheduled in a timely manner.

 

15.         Once all of the Customer satisfaction sheets are completed the Delivery lead man will call into Forever Tan and put you on the phone with your bed salesman or a Forever Tan representative.  Forever Tan will then ask if everything is satisfactory with your delivery?  If there are any problems or concerns please inform us at this time.

 

16.         Once we leave the premises we cannot file any warranty claims that are cosmetic in nature.

 

17.         Once the verbal conformation is complete Forever Tan will leave the premises
